By boat, from Port Denarau Marina near Nadi. Cloud 9 floats out on Ro Ro Reef in the Mamanuca Islands — there’s no road and no jetty, which is rather the point.
Your day trip includes the return boat transfer, plus shared hotel transfers from selected hotels.

The boat from Port Denarau to Cloud 9 takes about 60 minutes. In rough seas it can take about 20 minutes longer, so allow a little flexibility in your plans — and if you're prone to seasickness, it's an open-water crossing, so worth taking your usual precautions before boarding.
That 60 minutes is the boat leg on its own. If you're staying outside Denarau there's a road transfer to the marina before it — see below for how long the whole trip takes.

Getting to Cloud 9 has two parts: the road transfer from your hotel to Port Denarau Marina, then the boat out to the reef. Your pickup time already allows for the drive.
For the 9 AM trip — we collect you at your hotel at your listed pickup time, you check in at Port Denarau between 8:00 and 8:45 AM, the boat leaves at 9:00 AM and takes about 60 minutes, so you're on Cloud 9 by about 10:00 AM.
For the 1 PM trip — we collect you at your listed pickup time, you check in between 12:00 noon and 12:45 PM, the boat leaves at 1:00 PM, and you're on Cloud 9 by about 2:00 PM.
So from a Coral Coast hotel with an 11:30 AM pickup, allow about two and a half hours from your hotel door to the platform. From a Denarau resort with a 12:30 PM pickup, about an hour and a half. Add about 20 minutes in rough seas.

There are two departures a day, and both give you about six hours.
9 AM trip — check in between 8:00 and 8:45 AM, depart Port Denarau at 9:00 AM, leave Cloud 9 at 2:00 PM and get back to Port Denarau around 3:00 PM. This is our main departure and it always runs.
1 PM trip — check in between 12:00 noon and 12:45 PM, depart at 1:00 PM, leave Cloud 9 at 6:00 PM and get back to Port Denarau around 7:00–7:15 PM. The later session, and it takes in the sunset — from Cloud 9 before you leave, or from the boat on the way home. It runs when 25 or more guests are booked; if there aren't enough bookings we'll move you to the 9 AM departure and let you know in advance.

After the 9 AM trip — we leave Cloud 9 at 2:00 PM and reach Port Denarau around 3:00 PM.

All times depend on road traffic, and in rough seas the boat leg can take about 20 minutes longer. If you're on the Coral Coast and want an earlier finish, we'd suggest the 9 AM trip.

Most likely, yes. Shared hotel transfers are included from selected hotels across Nadi, Denarau and Wailoaloa. We also serve hotels further out, with a surcharge: an additional $20 per person from Vuda and Lautoka, or $32 per person return from the Coral Coast.
Every pickup is a road transfer that brings you to Port Denarau Marina, where you check in and board the boat. Every Cloud 9 day trip leaves from Port Denarau and nowhere else.
Please be in your hotel lobby 10 minutes before your scheduled pickup time.

You come straight to us from your resort — no need to travel to Port Denarau first. Cloud 9 floats on Ro Ro Reef between the islands and the mainland, so going via Denarau would take you the wrong way.
The island resorts are Beachcomber · Bounty · Castaway · Funky Fish · Lomani · Malolo · Mana · Matamanoa · Musket Cove · Namotu · Plantation · Tavarua · Tokoriki · Tropica · Vomo — all in the Mamanucas, all reached by boat, and none of them served by our mainland hotel pickups.
Likuri Island Resort — formerly Robinson Crusoe Island Resort, the same property on the same island — is the exception. It sits off the Coral Coast rather than in the Mamanucas, and its guests do travel via Port Denarau: your resort's boat brings you ashore to Likuri Jetty, and we collect you at the jetty — 7:30 AM for the 9 AM trip, or 11:30 AM for the 1 PM trip — and drive you to the marina, where you board the Cloud 9 boat. You book a day trip in the normal way.
We don't run boats to or from the island resorts, so there's no Cloud 9 pickup from your island. Your resort's own boat brings you out, and you arrange it through your resort's tour desk (activities desk). They set the schedule and the fare, so they're the ones to ask about times and cost.
You book your Cloud 9 visit through that same tour desk — they arrange the boat and the booking, and you pay them. There's nothing to book on our website, which sells day trips departing Port Denarau with the boat transfer included — not your route. Your tour desk will confirm what's included and the cost when you book. If you're a larger group coming direct from an island resort, do give our team a heads-up so we can make sure there's room and staff for you.
Two islands work differently and have their own questions below: Matamanoa Island Resort, whose Cloud 9 trips are run by Purple Turtle Fiji, and Plantation Island Resort on Malolo Lailai, whose transfers are run by Dulcinea Charters Fiji from Tavola Jetty.

If your resort isn't listed there, please ask your resort directly — and if they can't help, get in touch and we'll do what we can.
If your resort's boat doesn't run on the day you'd like, that's their schedule rather than ours. Arranging a private boat for another day is something to take up with your resort — we can't charter one from an island on your behalf, and our own charters all start from Port Denarau.
The 9 AM and 1 PM times you'll see elsewhere are Port Denarau departure times, so they don't govern when you can arrive — your resort's boat schedule does.
The 25-guest minimum doesn't apply to island-resort guests either. It only decides whether the 1 PM boat sails from Port Denarau, and even on a day when that boat doesn't run, we're open in the afternoon for guests coming direct from island resorts.

Matamanoa is a Mamanuca island resort, so you come straight to Cloud 9 from the resort — no need to travel to Port Denarau first.
Trips from Matamanoa run on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The boat leaves Matamanoa at 11:00 AM and collects you from the Cloud 9 platform at 3:00 PM for the trip back. The journey takes about 40 minutes each way.
The Matamanoa boat is operated by Purple Turtle Fiji rather than by us. Plantation Island Resort is on Malolo Lailai, a Mamanuca island, so you come straight to Cloud 9 from the island — you don't travel to Port Denarau first, and the mainland hotel pickups don't apply to you.
Transfers from Plantation Island Resort leave from Tavola Jetty and are operated by Dulcinea Charters Fiji rather than by us. It's a shared scheduled return transfer, and the crossing takes about 15 minutes each way depending on sea conditions. Check in at Tavola Jetty 30 minutes before your confirmed departure time.
Departure times vary, so book directly with Dulcinea Charters Fiji and check their live availability for current schedules and fares: dulcineacharters-fiji.com. You can also reach them at bula@dulcineacharters-fiji.com or on +679 775 6795 (call or WhatsApp). Those are Dulcinea Charters Fiji's contact details, not ours — they set the schedule and the fare, so they're the ones to ask about times and cost.
When you book with Dulcinea, they arrange your Cloud 9 visit with us as part of the booking, so there's no separate Cloud 9 reservation to make unless Dulcinea tells you otherwise.
If you're staying in a private home on Malolo Lailai rather than at a resort, Dulcinea may be able to arrange your transfer too. Contact them with your accommodation location, preferred date, passenger numbers and preferred times, and they'll confirm the meeting point, availability and price.

Yes — you're welcome to travel to Port Denarau by taxi, hire car or your own driver rather than taking the included hotel pickup. Just meet us at Port Denarau Marina in time for check-in: 8:00–8:45 AM for the 9 AM departure, or 12:00 noon–12:45 PM for the 1 PM departure.
You will still need the Cloud 9 boat transfer. Cloud 9 floats out on Ro Ro Reef, so it can only be reached by boat — a car can take you as far as the marina and no further. Arranging your own driver replaces the road part of the journey, not the boat.

Yes, and no. "Own boat" means a boat you own — a hired boat or water taxi doesn't count (see the next question). If you own your boat or yacht, you're welcome at Cloud 9 with no landing fee and no admission charge, but you must book with us in advance: send your boat name and guest list before you set off (needed for the safety authorities and waiver forms) to book@cloud9.com.fj or WhatsApp us on +679 8697947.
Once booked, come aboard and pay only for what you eat and drink. Cloud 9 is open 10 AM to 6 PM — arrive and leave any time in that window. You don't check in at Port Denarau and no Port Denarau departure time applies to you.
Seaplane and jet ski arrivals book the same way. Island-resort guests book through their resort's tour desk instead. This applies to arriving by sea on a boat you own — a taxi or hire car can't bring you to Cloud 9. Everyone who visits Cloud 9 needs a booking, whichever way they arrive.

No. Paying a water taxi, a hire boat, a skippered charter or any boat you've arranged yourself to run you out is a commercial trip, and it isn't permitted. Hiring a boat privately doesn't make it a private boat, and there's no approval process for one.
Guests reach Cloud 9 in one of three ways: on a Cloud 9 boat, on a boat you own, or with one of the licensed commercial operators we work with — currently Purple Turtle Fiji, who run the transfer from Matamanoa Island Resort, and Dulcinea Charters Fiji, who run the transfer from Tavola Jetty at Plantation Island Resort. If an operator isn't one of those, please don't assume they can bring you out — check with us first at book@cloud9.com.fj or on WhatsApp.
Otherwise, book a day trip from Port Denarau — the return boat transfer is included — or, if you're staying at a Mamanuca island resort, book through your resort's tour desk.

Yes, and it's free. Leave your bags with our team at the pier and pick them up when you get back, at no charge. Handy if you've checked out of your hotel and have a flight later: you can still make a day of it.

Yes. If you have a flight to catch or need to leave ahead of the group, we can run you back to Port Denarau on the Galilean, subject to availability on the day.

Yes, for day trips of up to 6 guests. Subject to space on the day, you can book at short notice, or turn up at Port Denarau Marina in time for check-in (8:00–8:45 AM for the 9 AM trip, 12:00 noon–12:45 PM for the 1 PM trip) and pay for your trip there. The 9 AM trip always runs; the 1 PM trip only sails with 25 or more guests booked, so if you're walking up for the afternoon, message the team first to check it's running. Booking ahead online is still the surest way to secure your seat and your hotel pickup.

For more than 6 guests, our team looks after the booking personally rather than leaving you to the online booking page. There's more to get right with a group — seating, transfers from your hotel, timing, and the best rate for your numbers — and we'd rather sort it properly with you.
If you'd like Cloud 9 to yourselves, that's Exclusive Hire of Cloud 9, from FJD 10,000 for a half-day session — it suits groups of more than 50, and for 50 or fewer the standard day trip is the usual option. (You can't hire a section of the platform: Cloud 9 is either shared or entirely yours. If what you want is a reserved spot of your own on a shared day, the closest thing is a Day Bed with Bar Credit — FJD 500 per daybed, seating up to six, with the full 500 coming back as bar credit. Only 4 can be booked per day, so a group wanting two or three should arrange them early through the team.) Yes. Groups of more than 15 guests get 10% off the FJD 249.99 package when booking direct with us. It applies to that package only — boat transfers, exclusive hire and our charters are priced separately and aren't discounted. Our team applies it when they arrange your booking — get in touch via our contact page.
Worth knowing: the 25-guest minimum you'll see mentioned applies only to our 1 PM departure — it's the number needed for that session to run, not a minimum for your group. There is no minimum group size for the 9 AM trip — though groups of more than 100 need Exclusive Hire of the platform, and any group over 6 books through our team.

Yes. Cloud 9 makes an exceptional venue for a private function, wedding party or corporate day. Booking out the whole platform is Exclusive Hire of Cloud 9, and there are three costs to it — the hire fee, your boat transfers and your land transport. Here's all of it together.
1. The hire fee
FJD 10,000 per session. A session is a half day, four hours — either the morning session (10 AM to 2 PM) or the afternoon session (2 PM to 6 PM). For the full day, 10 AM to 6 PM, you take both together: FJD 20,000. The platform is exclusively yours, with no other guests aboard, and it holds up to 150 guests. Advance booking is required.
2. Boat transfers from Port Denarau — charged separately on top of the exclusive-hire fee
Standard exclusive-hire transfers are per person: FJD 169 each for 1 to 14 guests, or FJD 150 each for 15 to 100.
Or take everyone out and back together on MAXIMUM — FJD 8,050 as a flat price for the group's return sea transfer, Port Denarau out to Cloud 9 and back again at the end of your session, aboard MV Maximum. Up to 100 guests, with a bar, two toilets and a sound system onboard. Your day is still spent on the Cloud 9 platform — this is the ride there and back, not a cruise. Because it's a flat price rather than per person, it usually works out cheaper than standard transfers for a larger group as well as making a better arrival. Ask us to price it both ways.
For exclusive-hire groups of more than 100 guests (the platform holds up to 150), boat transfers are quoted by the team — a single vessel carries up to 100 on a private transfer.
3. Land transport to Port Denarau — charged separately on top of the exclusive-hire fee
FJD 10 to 40 per person — coach transport for your exclusive-hire group (this is the exclusive-hire rate, not the day-trip hotel surcharge). We'll confirm the exact figure with your quote once we know where everyone's coming from.
Included in the hire fee
The exclusive-hire fee includes FJD 14,000 of credit toward food, beverages and merchandise on a full-day hire, or FJD 7,000 on a half-day session. That's included in the hire price, not added to it — it comes back to you as spending money on the day. Any unused balance isn't refunded.
What it comes to
As a guide, before land transport: a group of 60 taking the full day is about FJD 20,000 plus FJD 9,000 of transfers, so around FJD 29,000 — or about FJD 28,050 using MAXIMUM. A group of 90 across the full day is around FJD 33,500 on standard transfers, or about FJD 28,050 on MAXIMUM. A group of 55 taking a half day is around FJD 18,250. We'll confirm exact figures with your quote.
Exclusive hire is about having the venue itself, while a charter is a private boat trip out to the islands — so it's really a question of which day you'd rather have. A group over 100 needs exclusive hire, since 100 is the most our boat carries on a single private group transfer. We also run bespoke full-day party charters with an itinerary built around you, popular for weddings, hens and bucks parties (bachelorette and bachelor parties, stag and hen dos) and corporate days.

Yes. General seating across both levels is first-come, first-served and included with your trip — most guests are very happy with that.
If you'd like a guaranteed spot, add a Day Bed with Bar Credit for FJD 500 per daybed — two curled up for a honeymoon, or the whole friend group piled on together, up to six guests, same flat price. The full 500 comes back to you as bar credit for food and drinks on the day, so you're pre-paying your spend and getting the daybed reserved with it.
It's an add-on rather than a replacement, so it stacks with your package. Book the $249.99 trip (which includes a $60 bar tab) and add a daybed, and you'll have FJD 560 of food and beverage credit for the day.
Only 4 daybeds can be booked per day, so they go quickly — if you'd like one, arrange it as early as you can. Book your trip first, then let us know and we'll add it.
There are 8 daybeds on the platform in total. We keep the rest free so we can seat guests out of the wind depending on the weather, so your exact daybed is allocated on the day.

It varies day to day and we can't predict it reliably, but the morning session is typically the busier of the two.
If you're coming as a group and want certainty about where you'll sit, reserve a daybed.

Swim and snorkel straight off the platform onto Ro Ro Reef. Eat wood-fired pizza. Drink something cold. Claim a day bed on the sun deck and do very little at all.
There's music throughout the day — club-style mixes are always playing, and live DJs join every week.
Water sports, island hopping and photoshoots can be arranged in advance — water sports are run by a partner operator, so ask us and we'll set them up. Cloud 9 is drone-friendly too, so bring yours for the aerial shots.

Currents around Cloud 9 on Ro Ro Reef can be strong, so please swim within your ability. Life jackets are free and readily available on the platform — we encourage everyone to use one, and please do if you're not a confident swimmer. The deck can be slippery when wet, so take care.

There's music every day — club-style mixes play across the platform whether or not a DJ is on. Live DJs play every week, and we bring in international guest DJs and live acts through the year. Two levels with a sun deck and day beds, long chairs, benches and tables. A state-of-the-art surround sound system. Two snorkelling stations off the platform. A wood-fired pizzeria and full bar. Free wifi across the platform, so you can share the day as it happens. There's a designated smoking area onboard.
There are environmentally friendly marine toilets onboard, separate for men and women. Please don't put anything down them — they clog easily out here.
There are change rooms on the platform for getting in and out of swimwear, but no lockers — keep phones, wallets and valuables with you or your group rather than leaving them unattended.

The floating platform holds up to 150 guests across the two levels — and that's also the number for exclusive hire, if you're looking at booking the whole place out. Our MAXIMUM charter boat is a separate thing: it takes up to 50 guests on a full-day charter, or up to 100 as a private transfer out to Cloud 9 and back.

Yes — complimentary snorkel gear is available onboard Cloud 9, 30 sets on rotation, shared among guests through the day. You're very welcome to bring your own if you'd prefer not to wait.

No — Cloud 9 is a licensed bar and restaurant, so the platform isn't BYO. There's a full wood-fired pizza menu, a proper bar and a cocktail list waiting for you.
The private charters work differently. On the Island Hop charter you're welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks aboard the boat, and the MAXIMUM full-day charter doesn't include food, so you're welcome to bring your own for the cruise. That's the charter boat itself — once you step onto the Cloud 9 platform, it's our kitchen and bar.

Card only for food, drinks and merch — we don't take cash at the bar or kitchen. We take Visa, Mastercard and American Express, charged in Fijian Dollars.
Tipping isn't customary in Fiji, but it's appreciated — you can add a tip for the team to your card payment, or tip in cash if you prefer (a cash tip is the one exception to card-only).

Yes. Any adult with a credit card can open their own tab onboard, so you don't have to put the whole group on one bill. Split it however suits you.

Yes. Caps, t-shirts, towels and tote bags are available onboard — card only, and your $60 voucher counts toward them.
You can also order merchandise when you book your day trip online, and have it ready to pick up on the day — from the Cloud 9 platform or from the Cloud 9 booth at Port Denarau.

Hand-rolled pizzas from our Italian wood-fired oven, made with Bubu's secret sauce — a rich tomato, basil, herb and onion sauce. Bubu means grandma in Fijian. Vegetables come fresh from the Nadi market each morning.
Margherita, pepperoni, ham, chicken, Hawaiian, vegetarian and vegan, plus calzones.
Pizzas run from FJD 30 to 40, and calzones from FJD 18. Prices can change, so check the menu onboard.

It doesn't — the kitchen runs all day, so order whenever you're hungry, right up until your boat leaves.

All three. There are vegetarian and vegan pizzas on the menu, and a gluten-free base is available for FJD 10 extra.
We're not halal-certified, but there are menu items without pork — the Margherita, Vegetarian, Vegan and Chicken Breeze pizzas, for example — so guests avoiding pork have options. Just ask the team on the day.
If you have a serious allergy, tell us beforehand or mention it to the team when you board, and we'll look after you.

We'd ask you to sit a Cloud 9 visit out in your last trimester. Earlier in pregnancy it's your call, ideally with your doctor's advice — bear in mind the boat from Port Denarau is about an hour's open-water crossing each way and the sea can be rough.

Yes — private bookings have no age limit, so bring the whole family. That applies to a private boat charter and to exclusive hire of the platform.
The minimum age of 10 applies only to our FJD 249.99 and FJD 198 day trips, because Cloud 9 is a licensed bar open to the public on those. A private booking is a different situation.
On the Zip & Dip combo, note that two separate operators are involved: our shared day policy is 10 and up, while the Sleeping Giant Zipline takes children aged 3 to 12. So a younger child may be able to join the zipline portion.

Our FJD 249.99 and FJD 198 day trips have a minimum age of 10 — infants and younger children can't join a day trip (they're welcome on private charters and exclusive hire). Cloud 9 is a licensed bar where alcohol is served, so it's an adult environment with children welcome rather than a family day out. We don't serve alcohol to minors — the legal drinking age in Fiji is 18.
Children aged 10 to 12 receive 10% off.
Private bookings — a private charter or exclusive hire of the platform — have no age limit.

Our staff will gladly help you from the boat onto the platform. We should be straight with you, though: the toilets aren't designed to accommodate disabled patrons.
If you have specific mobility needs, please contact us before you book so we can talk it through honestly.

Yes — but they aren't run by Cloud 9. We don't rent out jet skis, paddle boards or parasailing gear from the platform. They're operated on the water by a trusted third-party water sports operator, and we arrange them for you.
That means there's nothing to hire on the day, and water sports aren't part of the day-trip package. Ask us at least two days before your Cloud 9 date — contact us, email book@cloud9.com.fj or WhatsApp us on +679 8697947 — and the team will confirm what's running on your date and what it costs.
Parasailing runs 10 to 12 minutes of flying time, about an hour all up, for ages 7 and over (children 7 to 12 fly with an adult). Jet skis, paddle boards and more are available on request, subject to the operator's availability. Groups of 20 or more get special pre-booking rates.
Island Hopping & Charters

The Island Hop is a six-hour private charter from Port Denarau. You'll visit two Mamanuca island resorts, stop at a sandbank to snorkel the marine life, and finish at Cloud 9 before heading back to the mainland.
The Island Hop charter is FJD 2,800 for 1–12 guests · FJD 3,800 for 1–20 guests. Includes 15% tax.
The Island Hop includes: Denarau land transfers, captain, crew and guide, water and soft drinks, snorkel gear and floating noodles.
Food isn't included on the Island Hop, and you're welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks aboard the boat. That's the charter vessel only — the Cloud 9 platform itself isn't BYO, and its pizzeria and bar are open when you get there.
All ages are welcome on a private charter — the minimum age of 10 applies only to our FJD 249.99 and FJD 198 day trips, so bring the whole family.

You choose two from the list below. Island stopovers need to be approved 24 hours ahead, so let us know which two you'd like when you book. Landing fees are paid directly to each resort and aren't included in the charter price:
Castaway Island Resort — no landing fee (minimum spend of $100 for the group)
Musket Cove Island Resort — landing fee FJD 10 per person
Treasure Island Resort — landing fee FJD 15 per person (visit the turtle sanctuary)
Malamala Island Beach Club — landing fee FJD 30 per person (minimum spend of $50 each)

The Island Hop's six hours covers everything, including boat travel between stops — so time at Cloud 9 depends on how long you spend at the islands. Spend less time at the two resorts and you'll have longer at Cloud 9. Your skipper will help you plan it on the day.
Extra hours on the Island Hop charter can be added at FJD 250 per hour.

MAXIMUM is the name of our boat, and it's used two ways. They're easy to mix up, so the short version: FJD 16,000 is a day out cruising on the boat. FJD 8,050 is the ride out to Cloud 9 and back, for a group hiring the platform. Different days, different prices, same vessel.
The bespoke charter — FJD 16,000. Our flagship private adventure, and a bigger, longer trip than the Island Hop: a full day from 9 AM to 5 PM for up to 50 guests, with the itinerary built around you and no minimum group size. Start with a glass of champagne or a chilled beer and panoramic views all around. Popular for weddings and post-wedding parties, hens and bucks nights (bachelorette and bachelor parties, stag dos), birthdays, spring break and corporate days.
The VIP sea transfer — FJD 8,050. If you're booking exclusive hire of the platform, this is your group's return sea transfer: Port Denarau out to Cloud 9, and back again at the end of your session, aboard MV Maximum. Up to 100 guests, with a bar, two toilets and a sound system onboard. It's a flat price rather than per person, so for a larger group it usually costs less than standard transfers as well as making a better arrival. Ask us to price it both ways.
Your day is spent on the Cloud 9 platform — the boat is the journey there and back, not a cruise. So this is a transfer option on an Exclusive Hire of Cloud 9 booking, not a separate day out: the FJD 8,050 is on top of the hire fee, in place of the per-person boat transfers. See "Can we book the whole place?" for the hire fee, transfers and land transport together.
Why the different numbers? A transfer is a short run out and back, so more guests fit. The full-day charter is eight hours aboard, so we cap it at 50 to keep it comfortable.
The MAXIMUM full-day charter includes captain, crew, guide, snorkel gear and floating noodles, with a great sound system onboard and a bar stocked to your liking. Food isn't included on the charter boat — you're welcome to bring your own food aboard MAXIMUM for the cruise (this applies to the charter vessel only, not to the Cloud 9 platform, which has its own pizzeria and licensed bar). The charter bar is pay-as-you-go, card only.

Weather, Changes & Cancellations

For day trips: if we cancel for adverse weather 24 or more hours before departure, we'll try to reschedule you for another day. If that doesn't suit your travel plans, you'll receive a full refund. Refunds take 7 to 14 days to process. (Private charters and exclusive hire have their own weather terms — see their cancellation questions below.)
For day trips, once you've set off — boarded the hotel pickup or the boat from Port Denarau — the trip is underway and there's no refund if the weather changes during the day. For weather inside 24 hours of departure but before you've set off, get in touch with the team.

A few things worth knowing:
Day trips: if you can't travel due to unexpected injury, we offer a 50% refund with a valid medical certificate.
Day trips: no refund if you don't travel on the day. If you're not at your pickup point when the transfer comes, you can still make your own way to Port Denarau Marina in time for check-in (8:00–8:45 AM for the 9 AM trip, 12:00 noon–12:45 PM for the 1 PM trip). If you miss the boat, that's a no-show and there's no refund.
The 2.8% card surcharge and booking fee are non-refundable.
For circumstances outside our control — weather, transfer boat issues — we recommend travel insurance. We can't refund transfers, meals, flights or accommodation in these cases.
Zip & Dip has its own cancellation terms, which differ from day trips. Check at the time of booking or just ask us.

Our Island Hop charter works differently from day trips:
Cancel more than 24 hours before departure: refundable, less the 2.8% bank surcharge and the 1.75% online booking fee.
Cancel within 24 hours, or don't show up: non-refundable.
Unexpected injury: up to 50% may be refunded at management's discretion, with a medical certificate.
If we cancel for bad weather, we'll do everything we can to reschedule you. If that doesn't suit your plans, you get a full refund less the 2.8% bank surcharge and the 1.75% booking fee.
For cancelling a MAXIMUM bespoke charter booking, please contact the team and they'll confirm the terms for your booking.
We'd recommend travel insurance for anything falling outside that flexible period.

Exclusive hire is confirmed with a 50% deposit, and we'll set out the deposit and balance schedule with your quote. It has its own cancellation terms:
Cancel 13 to 4 days before your session and you get a full refund, less the card and booking surcharges.
Within 3 days of the session it's non-refundable.
If we cancel for bad weather, we'll try to reschedule you first. If that doesn't suit, you get a full refund less the booking and card surcharges.
With a valid medical certificate, a full refund (less those surcharges) up to 24 hours before. Within 24 hours it's non-refundable.
The food, beverage and merchandise credit (FJD 14,000 on a full day, FJD 7,000 on a half-day session) isn't refundable if you don't use all of it.

We want everyone to have a great day, so we do ask guests to treat our team and each other well. Cloud 9 may refuse service, ask a guest to leave, or cancel a booking without liability where someone behaves abusively, threateningly, violently or inappropriately toward our staff, contractors, other guests or property. Any refund in those circumstances is at our discretion.
Sustainability

It matters to us, out here. Cloud 9 runs on 100% solar power with zero carbon emissions. We've been planting coral since 2022, we're a member of the Mamanuca Environment Society, we use no straws, and we discharge no waste into the ocean.
We also support the neighbouring village of Malolo.
Reef-safe sunscreen is genuinely appreciated.
